The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will host the 10th OPEC International Seminar at the Imperial Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria, on 7-8 July 2027, under the theme “Navigating Towards a Stable Energy Future”.
The OPEC Seminar is a premier event in the global energy landscape, drawing industry stakeholders from across the globe. The two-day event drives collaboration by encouraging transparent dialogue on critical issues shaping the future of petroleum and broader energy markets.
Participants include Ministers from OPEC Member Countries, countries participating in the Declaration of Cooperation and other energy-producing and consuming nations. The event also gathers heads of international organizations, executives of energy companies and financial institutions, alongside other industry leaders, policymakers, experts, members of academia and journalists.
OPEC Secretary General, HE Haitham Al Ghais, stated: “The first OPEC Seminar dates back to 1969, and OPEC’s vision for our Seminars is that they are first-rank, high-quality events in the energy calendar, living long in the memory of all attendees. We look forward to welcoming all our guests to Vienna in July 2027 for what will be an engaging and unforgettable event.”
The previous (9th) Seminar, which was held in July 2025 in Vienna under the theme “Charting Pathways Together: The Future of Global Energy”, set a new benchmark for high-level dialogue. The event broke records, attracting more than 1,000 participants, including 23 Ministers and government officials, 35 company leaders, 12 heads of international organizations and numerous other experts and journalists.
Further details on the 10th OPEC Seminar will be announced in due course.
